Job Summary
The Building Maintenance Technician provides immediate, preventative, and corrective maintenance support to the building and equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspects the building for repairs and preventive maintenance needs. Document and track work to be prioritized and completed. Make immediate repairs and performs preventative maintenance on the building and equipment assets of the facility.
- Work may include any of the following : installing and maintaining lighting, general upkeep of the facility including drywall repair, painting, flooring issues, minor roofing, plumbing repairs, and troubleshoots HVAC / electrical equipment problems.
- Coordinate contractors to complete any work outside scope of technician's capability.
- Performs any other facility maintenance as needed.
- Maintains a safe work area, ensuring all rules and regulations are adhered to.
