Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As an Assistant Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to a team of clinicians and direct support staff. Your role will monitor and evaluate clinical staff through individual and group counseling sessions; regularly monitors and evaluates client records; and provide feedback to individual conselors. Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of clinicians and direct support staff
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with substance abuse
- Conduct clinical counseling sessions
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as treatment facilities, mental health providers and hospital, to ensure comprehensive care
- Serves as a liaison with clinical supervisors at other treatment facilities.
- Ensure treatment services meet all established goals and objectives in adherence to requirements of funding sources
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or Counseling
-Completion of certification program in substance abuse treatment, licensure by the State of Tennessee as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor is required
- Must have an excellent working knowledge and understanding of all laws regarding client confidentiality and privacy and must be able to effectively communicate this knowledge
- Strong background in behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience in clinical counseling
- Must posses excellent organizational skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
