What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Technician w/ Valid Driver's License position at Cocaine Alcohol Awareness Program?
Performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining building, adjacent walks the grounds, and keeping equipment orderly, clean and in functional condition, minor plumbing and HVAC.
General Duties:
- Receives oral or written orders from CEO and Managers.
- Performs work according to standard and by building's operational schedule.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and repair floors, stairs, and other building structures.
- Estimate costs and order parts and services.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
- Makes minor carpentry, mechanical and plumbing repairs.
- Recommend and implement improvements to equipment and procedures.
- Sets up and tears down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms, and function rooms.
- Train other maintenance technicians as needed.
- Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures.
- Clears snow from entrances and walkways.
- Checks building at beginning and end of shifts.
- Knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors
- Experience: 2( ) years working in custodial and maintenance.
Education: High School Diplomas or GED
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
