Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves educating and nurturing students in a preschool or private school setting, ensuring their developmental needs are met through engaging and effective teaching strategies.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and promote respectful behavior among students.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in teaching.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
• Support early intervention strategies for students requiring additional assistance in their learning journey.
• Foster physical education activities that promote health, wellness, and physical development among students.

Requirements

• Experience in preschool, daycare, or private school settings is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
• Passion for educating young children and commitment to their overall growth and development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
