Substitute Preschool Teacher. This position will be as needed.
A preschool substitute teacher is responsible for managing a preschool classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, following established lesson plans, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment, and engaging young children in age-appropriate activities while ensuring adherence to center policies and state regulations, primarily focusing on basic skills like colors, shapes, numbers, and social interaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in classroom management and working with young children
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with students effectively
- Background in early childhood education and lesson planning
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and curriculum development
- Experience in special education and working with diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and preschool education practices
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
