Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Draftsman to create precise technical drawings and plans for various engineering and construction projects. Working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, you will ensure that designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop precise architectural and structural drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to translate technical specifications into detailed plans
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry regulations, and engineering standards
- Revise and update drawings based on engineer and client feedback
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and verify project details
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines to resolve design-related issues
- Maintain organized records of project drawings and revisions
- Degree in Architectural Drafting or related field, preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in drafting for engineering or construction firms
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software
