About th

e RoleA Cochran Sr. Estimator supervises trains and mentors Estimators as well as leads estimates from beginning to end. A Sr. Estimator will also organize departmental resources and manage the estimating process, keeping in mind deadlines and importance of accuracy and completeness. This role will report to a Chief Esti


mator.

  • etencies:Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university and 4 years electrical estimating experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding of electrical theory and basic electrical inst
  • allation.AA in construction management or 1-3 years of experience estimating in the AEC industry preferred. Understanding of electrical theory and electrical insta
  • llations.Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence and procedure
  • manuals.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
  • decimals.Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized si
  • tuations.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policy and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving
