KAMS and RED LION are looking for Security Staff to work at their locations in Champaign, IL.
Job Summary: Maintaining a safe environment at our bars for our patrons. Responsible for correctly checking IDs at the door for legal entry. Handling situations in a fast paced environment using good customer service skills. Monitoring large crowds for behaviors not allowed by establishment policy.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe and secure environment for bar patrons and staff.
- Respond to emergency situations in accordance with procedures and policies
- Prevention of losses and damage to the bar
- Remove violators of rules from premise in accordance with bar policy
- ID all patrons upon entry to establishment
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Previous security, military, law enforcement is preferred
- Maintain professionalism with appropriate conduct
- Ability to be patient, firm, and fair with patrons is a must
- Have initiative and good judgement when responding to situations
- Maintain situational awareness at all times
- Ability to maintain composure during high stress situations
- Able to work both independently and with a team
- Able to work in environments with hundreds of people
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- Weekend availability is a must
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in front of people
