We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Food and Beverage Cashier to join our team, with opportunities to work at one of our outlets: Tradewinds, Callaloo, or Starbucks. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring smooth operation in your designated outlet. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they have a seamless and enjoyable experience with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cashier Duties:
  • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system at your designated outlet (Tradewinds, Callaloo, or Starbucks).
  • Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment, ensuring the correct change and providing receipts.
  • Maintain an organized and balanced cash drawer throughout your shift.
  • Issue receipts, process orders, and ensure proper transaction completion.
  • Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, or available products.
  • Ensure smooth communication between kitchen staff, baristas, or food servers, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor stock levels of products in your outlet and notify management when restocking is needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your cashier station and any associated work areas.

Outlet-Specific Responsibilities:

• Tradewinds:
  • Provide guests with information about the menu and specials, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience.
  • Process payments for food orders and any beverages, ensuring proper handling of all customer transactions.
• Callaloo:
  • Provide customers with information about menu items, including specials or dietary options.
  • Process payments accurately for food and beverage orders and ensure timely transactions during busy times.
• Starbucks:
  • Take orders for coffee, espresso-based drinks, and baked goods, ensuring customer preferences are met.
  • Process payments accurately for beverages and food items while maintaining speed and accuracy.

• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a team setting, assisting colleagues and management as needed.
• Flexibility to work in different outlets, including Tradewinds, Callaloo, or Starbucks.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
