Key Responsibilities
Market Launch & Growth:
- Lead the Miami market operation, ensuring proper staffing, and fleet readiness, are executed on schedule.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive market strategy to drive adoption and growth, aligning with company goals.
- Build and nurture relationships with local merchants and community stakeholders to establish Coco as a trusted partner.
- Oversee day-to-day market operations, including fleet management, delivery execution, and performance monitoring.
- Implement and maintain operational processes that ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Identify and resolve challenges proactively to maintain uninterrupted service.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing local team, including operations managers, technicians, sales and account managers, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to grow team capabilities.
- Manage the market’s P&L.
- Track key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive margin improvement strategies without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with central teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, to ensure alignment on initiatives and goals.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Miami market and headquarters, providing feedback and insights to improve operations and market strategies
- Proven Leadership Experience: 5 years in general management, operations, or a similar leadership role, preferably in logistics, delivery, or technology-driven companies.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to take ownership of the market, make data-driven decisions, and adapt strategies as needed.
- Operational Expertise: Strong track record of implementing and managing complex operational processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets, P&Ls, and financial forecasting.
