What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cake Decorator position at Cocola Bakery?
Decorating the cakes and pastries to be sold to customers. Responsible for presenting the products correctly and consistently. Responsible for the presentation of the pastry showcase as well as the freshness of the products. Keeping track on pastry inventory daily to make sure the location has everything it needs.
This is an early morning shift. It's important for the person to be punctual and consistent in their work schedule. They also have to be neat, clean, organized and pay close attention to details and what makes a good and presentable pastry. The hand work that goes into the proper decoration of cakes is also important. Good handwriting skill are also important for writing on cakes, such as "Happy Birthday" notes.
Once the cake decoration and inventory responsibilities are done, the employee will be work in the front with other sales and barista employees for the remainder of their shift.
