Overview :
We are looking for an SAP Financials Implementation Consultant with 3-5 years of experience to lead and support full-cycle implementations and enhancements for a client of ours. This role focuses on gathering requirements, configuring SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) modules, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial processes and a proven track record in SAP implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Implementations : Lead and / or support project phases including blueprint, design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live activities for SAP Financials.
- Requirements Gathering : Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements, analyze current processes, and propose SAP-based solutions.
- Configuration & Customization : Configure SAP FI / CO modules (e.g., General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting) based on agreed requirements and best practices.
- System Integration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Supply Chain, Sales) to ensure seamless integration between SAP Financials and other SAP or third-party modules.
- Data Migration & Validation : Assist in planning and executing data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Validate migrated data and resolve discrepancies.
- Testing & Troubleshooting : Develop and execute test plans, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide resolution for any system or process-related issues.
- User Training & Support : Create training materials and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to end users. Provide post-go-live support and ongoing maintenance.
- Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, process flows, and project deliverables.
Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of key SAP FI / CO components (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost / Profit Center Accounting).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
