We are seeking a proactive, results-driven HR Generalist with a leadership mentality to manage a wide range of HR functions, as well as assist with operational activities. This individual should be comfortable navigating both employee relations and operational duties such as client management and inventory-related activities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and have the ability to drive HR initiatives that align with organizational goals.

What you'll do...
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboardings for open positions internally and for our clients
- Familiar with and able to navigate vendor relations for employees day-to-day responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
- Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures
- Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications in a timely and accurate manner
- Take ownership of the HR function by leading key initiatives, optimizing HR processes, and demonstrating leadership in decision-making
- Partner with senior management to align HR strategy with business goals
- Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to changing priorities and challenges
- Demonstrate flexibility in taking on additional responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist in a similar role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS
