What are the responsibilities and job description for the TRIO Student Support Services Peer Mentor position at Coconino Community College?
Mentors must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a professional, team-oriented environment. Applicants must be available during June and July to assist with summer programming. This is a temporary, part-time position (15-19 hours per week) and does not include benefits.

- Support mentees in developing the skills and confidence needed to transition successfully into college.
- Build and maintain positive, encouraging relationships with mentees through one-on-one and group mentoring.
- Maintain accurate and consistent documentation of mentee meetings.
- Assist mentees in navigating campus resources and connecting with off-campus support services.
- Help mentees feel engaged and connected to the Coconino Community College (CCC) environment.
- Conduct outreach efforts as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
