Under supervision performs work of moderate difficulty in assigned field; performs related work as assigned.

- Prepares reports and maintains records
- Receives, sorts, files and retrieves forms, correspondence and documents
- Updates, checks and completes records, forms and documents
- Verifies discrepancies and makes corrections
- Research records and disburses information
- Establishes and maintains complex filing systems
- Schedules, gathers materials and prepares agenda for various meetings
- Takes and transcribes minutes of meetings and other proceedings
- Maintains control and assures availability of files and other materials
- Establishes and maintains complex filing systems
- Answers questions requiring knowledge of departmental rules and procedures
- Exercises discretion and judgment on minor administrative decisions
- Processes and distributes confidential and sensitive documents
- May maintain department budget accounting records
- May answer and route incoming phone calls
The ideal candidate will possess a calm demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to complete varied tasks in short order. The candidate must assist with a wide range of services, be capable of attempting de-escalation with customers who may be upset and /or confused and be able to provide procedural information without providing legal interpretation or advice.
This position is non-exempt from overtime.
- Considerable knowledge of:
