Coconut Stock is a leading supplier of custom-branded coconuts to hotels, restaurants, and event companies. As we expand into new markets, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to develop our clientele in the hospitality sector across Houston.
Position Overview
This Sales Representative will focus on B2B sales, primarily within the hospitality industry, to generate new business opportunities and manage coconut sales. The ideal candidate has sales experience, preferably in hospitality, and is comfortable using a CRM to manage client relationships effectively.
This role offers significant growth potential, allowing the candidate to establish a client base and, as we expand, take on leadership responsibilities and build a sales team. The Sales Representative will work closely with the Sales Director to identify opportunities, deliver presentations, and achieve sales targets within Houston and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Market Development: Identify and establish new business opportunities with hotels, restaurants, event planners, and corporate clients.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Process: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotes. Close deals and meet assigned sales targets.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and the sales pipeline.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Director, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely deliveries.
- Industry Engagement: Attend networking events, industry trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and stay updated on market trends.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of building a client base and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Houston based.
- Open to a salary commission pay structure
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of hotels, event planning, or corporate gifting is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Houston area.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening in accordance with Texas employment regulations.
