Description:

As our Business Administrative Assistant, you will handle general office tasks and administrative duties, such as directing communications between colleagues and customers, organizing schedules and events, maintaining HR/Payroll records, entering data, bookkeeping, monitoring office equipment and so on.

Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Ensure resort staff is trained in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories and receivables and that the procedures are regularly followed.
  • Manage human resources functions including recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training.
  • Ensure personnel files are accurate and comply with both local and federal laws and regulations.
  • Manage payroll functions including, but not limited to, tip tracking and reconciliation, inputting hours, reviewing employee timecards, coding, and submitting payroll.
  • Manage accounting functions including bank deposits, coding invoices, and acting as a liaison to Corporate Accounting team.
  • Knows local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the establishment.
  • Keep an inventory of department uniforms and supplies; make requisitions when you need to replenish.
  • Act as point of contact for all vendors and assist with gathering quotes.
  • Supervise the condition of all storage areas, making sure they are kept in a clean, orderly fashion. Ensuring they are stocked with the necessary items.
  • Identifies and corrects potential security problems, such as locking doors after hours, etc.

Job Qualifications:

  • Two years working in the service or administrative industry
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time
  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • Excellent communication, computer and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both with a team and alone
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
