About the Job
Cocoon, Inc. is a leading provider of innovative textile solutions for the military and aerospace industries.
The Director of Textiles will lead the Textiles department in developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete product life cycle, including prototyping, design & documentation, manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Maintain vendor relationships and customer relationships, including military program management offices and prime contractors/OEMs.
- Work closely with Engineering to manage the supply chain, adherence to the quality management system, and product innovation.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on revenue and budget planning and overall Textiles strategy.
Requirements:
- Operational and/or engineering experience in managing highly specified products.
- Military product/program management experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to develop new and unique ways to improve operations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft programs and basic accounting principles.
