What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk/Electric Clerk position at Cocopah Indian Tribe?
Summary
This position possibly will be the first contact the customers have with the resort. It is critical that the individual filling this position project a positive impression to the customers, both in their manner, professionalism and appearance. This position must have the ability to accurately handle and account for all money received at the front desk. This position is responsible for accurately billing all the electric charges to each space as well as monitoring the resort bills with APS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in customers.
- Take incoming calls and redirect when needed.
- Collect and record payments, deposits for space rent, internet and utilities.
- Record all electric readings and bill customers on proper date.
- Check all APS bills and make sure they are correct.
- Make sure electric is on for expected arrivals
- Inform customers of policies of the resort.
- Complete end of the day work sheets, and deposits for the Office Manager.
- Attend all staff meetings
- Other duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have prior computer experience
- Must have bookkeeper knowledge
- Able to handle and accurately account for all money received.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of procedures of the resort and the surrounding area.
- Ability to communicate with customers in appropriate manner.
- Must be able to provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Current valid Arizona Driver's License.
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Two (2) years computer experience, related work experience
- Bookkeeping experience preferred.
