Graveyard Residential Aide
Make an impact today! In our dynamic residential settings, you will have the opportunity support to individuals from a diverse background who are actively experiencing chronic mental illness and battling various forms of addiction.
We are currently seeking a full time Residential Aide for graveyard shift. This position will be regularly scheduled to work 40 hours per week floating between our residential treatment programs in Gresham and our residential mental health programs in SE Portland.
We focus on person centered goals through a trauma informed lens. Each day staff has the opportunity to interact with our residents and assist in goal setting by practicing and implementing skill sets that allow residents to get through each day on their path to recovery.

In this position, you would fulfill the following essential functions:
Monitor the health conditions and whereabouts of clients as well as their behaviors and activities, reporting and/or documenting concerns and medical needs as instructed. Respond to emergencies per site procedures.
Conduct and document safety checks and searches of client rooms, client property, and personal possessions per procedure.
Assist client with self-administration of medications per protocols.
Administer and observe client urinalysis (UA); document results.

Qualifications
The right individual for this position has a passion for helping others, and is able to deal with difficult situations in positive and constructive ways. This position also requires the following qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED, with some experience in substance abuse or detoxification treatment preferred.
- Basic computer skills including data entry and email.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clinical concepts and program outcomes.
