A Multi-Billion Private Equity Firm is looking to hire an Assistant Controller for their Investment/Portfolio Team. This role will report to Senior Controller and CFO working directly with their Investment Team. The team has about 5ppl and all young professionals with strong internal collaboration.
Will be responsible for Fund Investments/Portfolio reporting, investment accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment metrics, other duties. This professional with be instrumental in the growth of the firms Investment financial operations. Lead and Driving Financials cycle, including but not limited to Financials, Month-end and year-end, tax reporting, and working with outside auditors
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead timely and accurate Investment Fund Financials including monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, and financial analytics.
- Review and Analyze preparation of Fund Financial Reports including Fund P&L's
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Review and maintain supporting spreadsheets and documentations
- Work with fund administrator on all activity including waterfall calculations, timing of deliverables, performance reporting and capital account statements.
- Work with external CPA Firm on Audit and Taxation
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of Investment/Fund Financials, including at least 2 years in Public Accounting Audit Teams
- Must have bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master's and CPA is needed
- Strong in GAAP
Our client is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary and discretionary performance bonus, including benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - 190,000 plus bonus.
