What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Strategies/Client Solutions (Alternative Investments) position at Coda Search│Staffing?
Our client is currently seeking to add a VP of Client Solutions, this would be an addition to head-count due to growth. This individual will be responsible for managing/developing firms Investor Strategies / Client Solutions, and assisting Head of Business Development with all new business initiatives.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with Head of Business Development and manage all internal client relations and investor strategy efforts
- Responsible for all aspects of day to day project management including new business development
- Develop and nurture relationships with sophisticated institutional investors, such as: pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and related financial companies
- Attend meetings, industry events, and conferences with PM’s to meet with potential investors and to represent the firm
- Prepare & present due diligence findings to investment committees, Senior Management and Firm Clients.
- Manage full range of marketing activities including daily interaction with existing and prospective limited partners, fund raising, and client communication.
- Assist in the development of strategic and analytical frameworks for investment product development
Qualifications
- 9 years of experience, with at least 5 years of experience in sales, strategy consulting/ investment bank, or direct Hedge Fund Marketing/Investor Relations.
- Strong and well-developed analytic, problem-solving and quantitative skill, with exceptional attention to detail
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA) strongly preferred
- Results-orientation with an ability to take initiative, execute and complete deliverables in a timely manner
- Deep understanding of Hedge Fund/Alternative Asset Management
- Strong leadership potential, with excellent inter-personal skills and collaboration abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Salary : $200,000 - $275,000
