Contract Assignment with Conversion Possibility
This is a contract assignment position with the possibility of conversion to permanent.
Job Requirements
Must be bilingual in Mandarin speaking and have experience in immigration coordination or administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Visa Application Support: Assist with visa preparation, submission, and follow-up for employees and potential hires.
- Documentation Management: Organize and maintain accurate records of immigration documents, employee statuses, and related correspondence.
- Communication: Serve as primary point of contact for employees regarding visa inquiries, providing guidance and updates on application progress.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all visa and immigration processes comply with local, federal, and international immigration laws and regulations.
- Coordination: Collaborate with HR and legal teams, external consultants, or attorneys to ensure smooth processing of applications.
- Tracking & Reporting: Track deadlines, generate reports on application status and renewals.
- Problem-Solving: Address issues or delays and propose solutions.
- Training Support: Create educational materials and training for employees about visa processes and policies.
- Data Entry: Maintain databases with employee immigration status, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in immigration coordination or administrative support.
- Knowledge: Understanding of U.S. immigration laws and visa processes.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Mandarin.
- Ability to handle sensitive information, work under tight deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and immigration management software.
