Job Description
The Sr. Financial Analyst role is responsible for finance operational business partnering activities. There will be a primary focus on managing revenue forecasting and reporting, product & service costing, inventory valuation, cost analysis, S&OP support, working capital management and key project support.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
• Support the business development and local operations teams in reporting of forecasting volumes and actuals, sales, net revenues, and contribution along with an understanding of the variances and drivers.
• Accountable for assisting business development team in evaluating strategic pricing and contracting proposals including profitability and credit analysis.
• Oversee and manage the financial aspect of the sales and net revenue forecasting meetings and related reporting.
• Assist with completion of monthly operating reports, timely and accurately, to ensure financial targets are met, including asset utilization analysis.
• Responsible for final review of customer invoicing and maintenance of Net Revenue history for accuracy.
• Analyze cost of sales and other manufacturing variances monthly.
• Complete assigned month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Preparation of accurate and timely reconciliations of all inventories, both finished goods and WIP.
• Assist in managing the site's working capital position, especially as it relates to inventory management.
• Bring financial support and insight to the S&OP process for commercial activities and clinical services.
• Complete various key performance indicator reports, and ad-hoc analysis as requested by management.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and 3-year plan.
• Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation for annual audit, physical inventory, and monthly cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Must have 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing / development environment.
• An excellent understanding of GAAP and the general ledger system is needed.
• Ability to work across functions, partner, and collaborate with all levels of the organization is required.
• Robust technical and analytical skills with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skillset is required.
• Must have some familiarity with an enterprise / ERP system
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
