Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist, Capital Projects and Facilities Procurement to oversee and manage vendor sourcing for construction-related projects. This role focuses on identifying qualified vendors, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction procurement and a deep understanding of contracting, construction scheduling, and methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify vendors for construction projects, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements with vendors, contractors, and consultants.
- Manage procurement processes for capital projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with contractors, design professionals, engineers, consultants, and facility managers to facilitate project execution.
- Oversee the procurement and contracting process for design professional services.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.
- Assist in project planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in design, construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement with a focus on construction capital projects (Capex).
- Strong background in construction procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, and project management.
- Proven ability to collaborate with contractors, design professionals, engineers, consultants, and facility managers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment while adapting to shifting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
