Strategic Account Executive: Private Equity & Capital Markets


About the Company: We're representing an industry leader in Financial Technology with end-to-end capabilities serving Private Investors, Banks, and the Capital Markets.

Using Artificial Intelligence to streamline process automation and insights from data analytics, the firm has increasingly won market share by way of a robust sales engine, excellent product-market fit, and a smooth implementation process, preventing churn.


Role Overview: We're seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive growth with the most high-profile clients across Investment Banking and the Private Markets. This person will manage the full sales cycle, and have the opportunity to own each relationship for the first 18 months to promote account retention and upsell opportunities. With a tenured, collegial culture, the ideal candidate will also have demonstrated strong staying power in previous roles. Ideally, they will have a desire to help build a platform that has strong existing products, but is ambitious in bringing new products to market using AI and process automation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win new business in assigned territories
  • Identify and qualify leads by understanding client needs and decision-making processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with sophisticated buyer personas.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations to C-Suite executives.
  • Negotiate and close deals, while managing a consistent pipeline of opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience and ongoing support


Requirements:

  • 5-12 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally within Private Equity, Fund Admin, M&A, or Investment Banking.
  • Proven success managing a complex sales cycle in a subscription model.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding quotas of $750K
  • A passion for AI and the evolving landscape in Financial Technology.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
