Our client is premier Alternative Investment Manager in NYC, in search of adding an extremely motivated Senior Associate/AVP to their growing Strategy/Office of the COO team . Select individual will partner with various members of the firms' Executive Management Team working across business lines executing on strategic initiatives with sole intent of driving productivity through positive change and process improvement across all channels of production. Ideal individual with need to demonstrate their ability at executing on plan /process assessment/improvement and maximizing resources to success in operational initiatives .
Responsibilities
- Assist the COO in developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives
- Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to support the strategic decision-making process
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to develop a Play of Action on short and long term goals, assessment approach, measurement strategy and reporting.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and communications for the COO, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with the company’s vision
- Institute best practices in project management, cross-functional communication, and establishing a framework for communicating target state or strategic vision
- Act as a liaison between the COO and other executives, departments, and stakeholders
- Plan and organize executive meetings, including agenda setting, follow-ups, and action item tracking
- Develop and maintain financial analysis models to assist in project prioritization and approval process
- Identify and escalate risks to project deliverables, and work with management to plan mitigation efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of (Consulting/Advisory/Strategy) Financial Services industry experience strongly preferred
- MBA (optional)
- CPA or CFA are not mandatory
- Superior Financial Modeling skills are mandatory
- Prior experience with asset-based financing, structured credit and/private credit securities strongly preferred.
- Data Skills: Power BI/Tableau strongly preferred
- Superior executive-level presentation skills – able to distill complicated, multi-faceted issues into the key items to bring to leadership’s attention
- Collaborative thinker who can also work independently, multitask, and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and complex environment
- Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve internal differences and maintain confidentiality across a broad range of topics
- The ability to take on a task and see it through to conclusion
- Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
- Technical skills; Advanced Excel
Salary : $150,000 - $275,000
