Shift: Mon thru Fri 7:30am-4:30pm
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. A strong commitment to safety and efficiency is essential.
Duties
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Warehouse duties, shipping/receiving.
- Drive along designated routes to deliver packages and products in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
- Operate a box truck or courier vehicle safely, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as required during deliveries.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Excellent customer service abilities to foster positive relationships with clients.
- Capability to drive box trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road.
