Job Overview :
The Junior Coordinator for Immigration Visa Applications will assist in managing and facilitating the visa and immigration process for employees and candidates. This role involves liaising with internal departments and external agencies to ensure timely and compliant visa submissions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting employees with visa-related inquiries. The Junior Coordinator will assist in ensuring the company’s immigration procedures align with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Visa Application Support : Assist with the preparation, submission, and follow-up of various visa types (e.g., H-1B, L-1, O-1, etc.) and immigration-related paperwork for employees and potential hires.
- Documentation Management : Organize and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of immigration documents, employee statuses, and related correspondence.
- Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding visa inquiries, providing guidance and updates on the progress of their applications.
- Compliance & Regulations : Ensure all visa and immigration processes comply with local, federal, and international immigration laws and regulations.
- Coordination : Collaborate with the HR and legal teams, as well as external immigration consultants or attorneys, to ensure smooth processing of applications.
- Tracking & Reporting : Track deadlines and key dates related to visas, permits, and other immigration matters. Generate reports on the status of applications and renewals.
- Problem-Solving : Address any issues or challenges related to visa applications or delays and propose solutions.
- Training Support : Help create and distribute educational materials or training for employees about visa processes, timelines, and related policies.
- Data Entry : Maintain accurate databases with employee immigration status, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
