MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working under the Direction of the IT Director, the IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day operations and monitoring of the Key IT infrastructure within the organization. Including (But not limited to):
- Infrastructure (Servers, Switches and Routers) (VMWARE)
- Entra ID (0365)
- Security (Email, Filtering, EDR, Windows OS and 3rd party Patching)
- Backup Infrastructure
- Regulatory Patching compliance with all systems and infrastructure
- The IT Systems Administrator will act as support for IT infrastructure, advanced issues, hardware and projects
- Installing and supporting of various Microsoft Operating Systems, including Server 2016-2025, Windows 11, and legacy operating systems; installation, support, and maintenance of all existing and future endpoint, user, and server hardware and software including scripting (CMD, PowerShell)
- Working knowledge of WAN technologies (Switching, Routers, Firewalls)
- Securely configure, review, and report on Key Security metrics as defined by the IT Director.
- Maintain accurate records and report time and troubleshooting details within the company Ticketing system
- Troubleshoots and solves all technological problems in a timely fashion
- Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with the staff.
- Maintain confidential information, assess situations, and make recommendations
- Develop and document technical specifications, timelines, and solutions to minimize compatibility issues, reduce system downtime, and align with best practices.
- Occasionally, act as a backup for other team members. within the department.
- Experience in installation and support of various Microsoft Operating Systems, including Server 2016-2025, Windows 11, and legacy operating systems; installation, support, and maintenance of all existing and future endpoint, user, and server hardware and software including scripting (CMD, PowerShell)
- Experience working with 3rd party software
- EDR Solution Understanding and awareness. (CrowdStrike, etc)
- · Motivated to acquire and learn new skills, as well as manage older software programs.
- · Must be able to work independently and commit to timelines.
- · Must be Detail oriented.: able to record time and work detail with accuracy within ticketing system
- · Other duties as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields or equivalent on the job experience with certifications.
· At least (4) years of related experience in
· Ability to be on call, early mornings or weekends if necessary
· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
