Position Overview : We’re seeking a motivated Entry-Level Audio Visual (AV) Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist lead technicians with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV systems at job sites throughout the Richmond area. (occasional out of town work is required) This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the AV industry, with on-the-job training and opportunities to learn the latest tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist lead technicians with installing and integrating AV systems, including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, control systems, and cabling.
- Follow instructions to ensure installations meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools and testing equipment to (include) soldering, crimping various type of connectors along with various other AV systems related task
- Learn to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
- Perform basic system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and organized at job sites.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and occasionally with clients.
