Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join Code 3 Security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement or military service, equipped with the skills necessary to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, as well as the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of security systems and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Provide assistance in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud.
- Administer first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
- Valid certification for armed security personnel is required.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with first aid and CPR practices is essential; certification preferred.
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
