Overview
This is evenings and overnights. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our designated locations. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. The Armed Guard will be responsible for protecting property, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through CCTV systems and perform regular surveillance to detect suspicious activities.
- Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure a secure environment.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide assistance.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when needed.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as required in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- A commitment to upholding safety standards and protocols at all times.
