Overview
Code 3 Security is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. MUST ALREADY HAVE A KANSAN CITY MO ARMED SECURITY LIC. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills, a background in law enforcement, and the ability to operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment while responding effectively to any incidents that may arise.
Duties
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to identify potential security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare detailed reports as necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing assistance during emergencies.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
Qualifications
- Valid armed security officer certification or equivalent credentials.
- Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must Have a Kansan City Missouri Armed Lic.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in loss prevention is advantageous.
