Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Duties
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Investigate alarms or disturbances and take appropriate actions
- Write reports on property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a security officer or guard is a plus
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts peacefully
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
