Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Security Guard will utilize surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe and report suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in conflict situations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure safety standards are met.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any security-related issues.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations as required.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols for various situations.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and conflict management techniques is advantageous.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV) is a plus.
- A background in military service or law enforcement can enhance candidacy for this position.
