Unarmed Security Guard

Code 3 Security is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety of premises and individuals.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
• Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
• Participate in training sessions on conflict management and loss prevention strategies.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid security guard certificate or equivalent training is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention or law enforcement is an asset.
• Proficiency in surveillance techniques, including the use of CCTV systems.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A militarized background is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Overtime
