The Digital Producer is a key member of the Production team, responsible for driving the successful delivery of projects across the Code and Theory portfolio. This role focuses on managing large, complex development initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams of strategists, designers, and developers to ensure project success.
THE ROLE
- Spearheading the delivery of large and intricate development projects while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams of strategists, designers, and developers.
- Assessing the complexity of wireframes or designs and strategizing the development team's workflow by breaking down tasks, establishing timelines, and managing project backlogs.
- Attaining a comprehensive understanding of the product's technical specifications, covering frontend architecture, CMS implementation, and integrations for various functionalities such as site search, advertising, APIs, personalization tools, localization, internationalization, and analytics.
- Implementing agile principles and methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
- Leading Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Grooming, and Sprint Demos in collaboration with the Client Engagement / Production lead and Technical Director.
- Proficiently utilizing JIRA to create and manage issues, tasks, and user stories based on approved designs and annotations.
- Creating issues (stories, tasks, and bugs) for the team, aligning with approved designs and annotations.
- Translating approved product roadmaps and technical architectures into actionable stories for product development.
- Maintaining the backlog of JIRA issues, ensuring alignment with project objectives and goals through prioritization.
- Conducting ticket estimation exercises to facilitate precise project planning and resource allocation.
- Leading agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, and demos in close collaboration with production and technical directors.
- Maintaining and updating project status documents and reports for both internal and client-facing purposes.
- Proactively identifying risks and issues, and collaborating with the project team to devise effective mitigation strategies.
- Fostering close collaboration with counterpart producers and technical directors to ensure alignment of project goals, effective communication, and timely issue resolution.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
