**Job Title:** Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Director
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic thinker to lead our Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the daily operations of the department, leading sourcing initiatives, and developing strategies to meet the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create sourcing strategies that include process and execution development.
- Develop and implement standards consistent with administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure business needs are being met.
- Maximize utilization of Group Purchasing (GPO) contracts.
- Develop and maintain all strategic sourcing and controls in alignment with system, departmental, and organizational goals and compliance guidelines.
- Seek out new sourcing opportunities in collaboration with clinical teams.
- Collaborate with departments and other related stakeholders on sourcing strategies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement products and services.
- Maintain standardization where appropriate and develop a project pipeline and timelines for execution.
- Lead contract preparation, evaluation, communication, and implementation.
- Monitor and evaluate Supply Chain Clinical compliance and performance throughout the organization; monitor all expenses not limited to contract and non-contract.
- Ensure accuracy of all agreements and maintain all deliverables including rebates and other related incentives.
- Identify inefficiencies and conflicts and develop recommendations for process improvement.
- Lead workgroups, create business plans, work plans, deliverables, savings estimates, and desired outcomes for initiatives with targeted due dates.
- Participate in strategic planning within Supply Chain to target future cost savings, standardization, and contract optimization.
- Collaborate with Value Analysis team on execution of clinical initiatives.
- Provide and maintain effective communication with facility leadership, medical staff, and community.
- Create partnerships through consistent rounding and established meetings with assigned stakeholders.
- Maintain collaboration, partnership, and synergies with all areas within Supply Chain.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain team and stakeholders with sourcing for alternatives due to backorders/shortages.
- Manage and maintain vendor relationships with all suppliers.
- Creates value through partnerships and collaboration.
- Explore new technology, products, and services that can provide value to the healthcare system.
- Leads RFP/RFI/RFQ or competitive quotations including inception, receipt, financial analysis, and vendor selection and award.
- Accountable for service excellence standards in service line teams to anticipate and meet customer needs.
- Establishes and maintains professional and ethical vendor relationships with all suppliers.
- Crea tes value through partnerships and collaboration.
- Also manages the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) relationship and activities.
- Creates reporting schema on contracting activities and KPI's.
- Tracks and Trends progress on a monthly basis or as requested.
- Maintains reports on cost savings/increases, contract compliance, and opportunities.
- Presents to Supply Chain Leadership on a monthly basis.
- Monitors the market and industry trends to be proactive in clinical Sourcing/Contracting, and benchmarks.
- Drive ongoing operation excellence and industry best practices to achieve established goals and objectives.
- Maintains a strong knowledge of suppliers and their capabilities, market trends, and technological advances.

Experience:
