  • Evaluate and analyze the cost-effectiveness and quality of products and services used within the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall value and efficiency of healthcare services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and select products and services that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing and terms for products and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians and department heads, to ensure their input and needs are considered in the value analysis process.
  • Monitor and track the usage and cost data of products and services to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and facilitate value analysis committee meetings to review and approve new products and services for use within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures related to value analysis processes.
  • Train and educate staff on value analysis principles and processes.
  • Monitor and report on the success and impact of value analysis initiatives to senior management.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to product and service selection and purchasing.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting related to product and service costs.
  • Stay informed on changes and advancements in the healthcare industry and incorporate them into value analysis strategies.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Saint Francis Health System in all aspects of the job.
