Role Description:

Our mission is to enable hardware innovation at the speed of software development! We are working towards automatic code transpilation and optimization for any hardware application. Our work integrates cutting-edge methods in AI, formal verification, compilers, and much more.

In this role, you will collaborate with a small team of talented researchers on ambitious, greenfield projects in GenAI and RL.

Research Areas of Interest:

An incomplete list of ongoing and near-term research directions:

  • Large-scale LLM post-training / finetuning
  • RLHF, RLAIF, etc
  • Decoding-time techniques for self-correction and repair
  • Steerability, guided decoding, and constraint enforcement
  • Code representations and similarity
Core Responsibilities:
  • Help build robust, scalable infrastructure and tooling
  • Contribute to core models and frameworks
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments
  • Create high-quality datasets (both in-the-wild and generated)
  • Perform literature reviews and implement new techniques from papers
  • Contribute to publications and grant proposals
  • Present at conferences, workshops, etc.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • At least one of the following: a) 1 years in an AI research or product role (academic positions included, if full-time) with a track record of training and deploying deep learning models, or b) 3 years in a full-stack software engineering role
  • Comfortable programming in Python and familiar with frameworks such as PyTorch and HuggingFace (either professionally or as part of a side project)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Lead author publications at peer-reviewed conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, etc.
  • Experience with large-scale LLM training, particularly in a distributed computing environment
