Code Ninjas in Nixa, MO is opening up in May 2025 and are looking for dynamic Code Senseis

to join our team!

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest-growing kids' coding franchise. At our center, kids ages 5-14

learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way – by building and playing video games they love.

Our students have a blast while developing essential skills in coding, math, logic, and problem-

solving. They progress from white to black belt, gaining confidence as they go. Parents love

seeing their children grow, and we stand by our core promise: Kids have fun, parents see

results. It’s even written on the walls of our center, because we truly believe it.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Code Sensei to join our dynamic team! As a Code

Sensei, you’ll be at the heart of our center, engaging with students, coaching them through

coding lessons, and creating an environment where they can thrive. If you have experience

working with kids, enjoy teaching, and have a passion for nurturing young minds, this could be

the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Training: Learn and become proficient with our curriculum.
• Create a Positive Learning Environment: Ensure students feel safe, engaged, and

excited to learn.

• Assess Skill Sets: Work with students to determine their coding abilities and guide

them through their learning journey.

• Parent Communication: Provide feedback to parents, especially after student tours,

highlighting their child's progress.

• Daily Operations: Follow daily opening/closing duties, maintain a clean dojo, and

ensure it meets corporate cleanliness standards.

• Progress Reporting: Provide weekly updates and daily reports to the Center Manager

regarding student progress and dojo activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children (ages 5 and up) in mentoring, coaching,

tutoring, or childcare.

• Experience interacting with the general public, offering a friendly and approachable

demeanor.

• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is a plus!
• Ability to collaborate well with a team and contribute to a positive environment.
• Familiarity with coding and technology is a plus, or the ability to quickly learn basic

coding concepts.

• Must be fun, energetic, and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
