About Us:
Code Ninjas Sudbury is part of a dynamic, fast-growing educational franchise that teaches kids ages 7-14 to code by building video games. We have a strong, dedicated team committed to making learning fun and engaging.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Mobile Coding Instructor to join our 11-person team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology and education, punctual, hard-working, dependable, good with kids, and possesses strong leadership qualities. This position is available starting in the Fall (September) and during the school year.
Responsibilities:
· Drive to various locations Monday - Friday (2:30-4:00) to teach a 1.5 hour coding class.
· Teach coding to 10 students aged 7-12 years.
· Arrive at our Code Ninjas Center before each class to prepare (total shift duration is 3 hours per day).
Qualifications:
· Valid Driver's License and reliable car (mileage and gas reimbursement provided)
· Strong leadership qualities (leadership training provided)
· Highly dependable and adaptable
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience working with kids
· Basic coding/tech skills (training can be provided)
