Who are we?

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 7-14 learn to code by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back! Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving. We celebrate our students successes as they progress from white to black belt in our proprietary curriculum. Our core promise is, Kids have fun, parents see results. We believe in these words so much that it’s written on the walls in our center.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a dynamic, creative and outgoing Code Sensei to join our fun team as we all work toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Are you experienced in working with kids? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? This could be the role for you! Coding experience is not necessary, but preferred!

Responsibilities include:

• Training-you’ll learn how to implement your creativity and support our Ninjas’ learning goals
• Undergo additional training in safety, company & center policies, customer service and more
• Create a positive and safe environment in which Ninjas can grow
• Assist with hosting families on tours of our center and educating them on the programs we offer
• Follow opening/closing duties daily
• Maintain impeccably clean center areas at all times, including sanitization
• Report frequently to Center Owner on your growth and progress as well as that of the center

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Positive experience and history with children ages 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring etc.)
• Experience in delivering excellent customer service
• Works well with others; collaborates, can be flexible and adaptable to quickly changing conditions
• Some coding experience preferred
• Knowledgeable about importance of coding, STEM and technology
• Knowledge of Minecraft and Roblox preferred
• Comfortable accepting performance-based feedback and a willingness to contribute to center culture
• Must like working in fast paced environments where requirements can change frequently

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
