Position : Camp Counselor / Tech Tutor
Part-Time Up to 25 hours / week | Weekdays between 8 am -7 pm (flexible) | Occasional Saturdays | Summer Camps or School Breaks Camps (hours vary)

Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest-growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 7-14 learn to code in a fun, non-intimidating way - by playing and building video games they love. What are we looking for?
We are looking for a college or high-school-aged Technical Tutor / Youth Mentor (a.k.a . Code Sensei ) to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal : providing a fun and safe learning environment for children who love technology. An ideal candidate is someone who's been a camp counselor before, is very energetic and creative in engaging kids. Do you like kids? Are you savvy with technology? Do you like computer games? Are you experienced in working with children? Do you have any coding experience? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem-solving skills in young engineering minds? If you answer yes to most of these questions, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities include :
- Training - go through the coding curriculum and learn it
- Create a positive and safe environment in which students (7-14-year-olds) can thrive and have fun
- Assist children with coding questions
- Come up with STEM ideas and ensure children are actively engaged
- Lead or assist with camps, STEM activities, workshops, etc.
- Provide feedback to parents after working with their children
- Follow opening / closing duties daily
- Clean up and organized the center throughout the day to ensure cleanliness and sanitization is kept up to corporate standards
- Report daily to Center Manager with respect to day's activities, efficiency & productivity in the center.
