JOB SUMMARY

Code.org's Research, Evaluation, and Data (RED) Team plays a critical role in shaping our strategic decisions and helping us achieve our mission. We're looking for a skilled and passionate Data Analyst to join our team.

We have millions of student and teacher users, all of whom generate data. As a Data Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our data analysis and reporting efforts. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to inform their decision-making by building visualizations, answering strategic questions, developing data products, and defining and implementing metrics. Your work will translate complex datasets into clear, accessible, and visually compelling insights.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will :

• Design and develop dashboards to support Code.org teams, including top leadership. Your visualizations will illuminate trends, patterns, and insights, empowering teams to make informed decisions.
• Lead training sessions and hold Office Hours for your colleagues on data topics
• Collaborate with leadership to identify drivers of changes in our metrics
• Build SQL models and views in dbt and commit them to our analytics layer via GitHub
• Develop expertise on Code.org's programming and curriculum in order to develop insightful analyses
• Analyze survey data provided by students and teachers to help us continually improve our products

Step 3 : Interviews with several members of the Code.org team (~ 3 hours)

Step 4 : Final Interview (1 hour)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

The expected salary range for this position is $99,000 - $110,000. Most offers are on the lower end of the salary range and are at the company's sole discretion based on the final candidate's experience. This allows us to provide a fair and equitable approach to compensation when setting pay and maintaining internal pay equity.
