The Associate Director, Paid Social is responsible for managing a team and delivering against paid social strategies, plans and buys against a portfolio of luxury clients. This individual is the key strategic leader on their assigned accounts and supports Client Partnership teams, social strategists and hands-on keyboard social experts to deliver client results. Operational excellence, strategic vision, and process orientation are key skills individuals in this role possess.
The primary functions of this supervisory role is to be a subject matter expert in paid social across market-leading and emerging platforms, to provide their team with the appropriate resources (trainings, tools, processes, etc.) to deliver against client paid social media goals, to hone in on growth and development of their team, and to collaborate with social team leadership on driving best practices, critical perspectives, and overall social POVs for Code3.

Salary Information: The base salary range for this position is $119,500 - $132,500 and is commensurate with candidate experience and location. The position also offers a bonus based on company and client success.

What You’ll Do
- Leads paid social strategy across their clients including but not limited to media planning, learning agendas, A/B testing & implementation, lift study set up & analysis, campaign reporting & optimizations, and performance forecasting
- Trains their team in media planning and forecasting best practices, campaign architecture and build best practices, optimization of campaigns, and reporting and analysis of campaigns to drive efficiency through stronger, more strategic optimizations
- Helps to build and lead a team that delivers unbeatable paid social strategies and ad performance, inclusive of training, process enforcement, and innovation
- Provide critical perspective and stay ahead of platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies
- Manage a team of paid social experts, ensuring professional growth and best-in-class execution
- Supports on internal social team leadership such as agency POVs, processes, and team planning
- Attends in-person client and partner presentations and events once a week on average
- Passion for fashion, beauty and/or luxury brands
- A data-driven decision-maker passionate about exceeding client expectations
- A people person that enjoys close relationships with your team, partners and clients
- Someone able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- 7 years of proven experience in developing paid social media plans, strategic presentations, and client buy-in of strategies. Must have at least 4 years of paid social buying experience and be comfortable in platform UIs
- Deep understanding of latest paid social product offerings and trends across all listed social media platforms: Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn
- Ability to lead a team by setting paid social strategy and direction, handling day-to-day deliverables, and delegating work appropriately across their team
- Excellent senior-level client presentation abilities
- Experience serving as an escalation point for clients, supporting with fire drills, strategic guidance, and growth
- Excel skills: comfort with pivot tables is a must
- Certifications in social media strategy are required, which could include Meta Blueprint Buying and Planning Certifications, Snap Focus, Google Analytics Certification, TikTok Media Buying Certification, etc.
- Experience in managing and elevating a team is a must
- Experience with luxury, fashion, and/or beauty brands is a plus
