Job requirements :

Responsibilities :

Analyse on premises / Azure transactional database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, COSMOS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra evaluate and plan migrations to Azure

Develop / Enhance database PLSQL scripts / TSQL to migrate from source database to target database

Identity workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration

Develop test plan and testcases to demonstrate database readiness post migration

Document detailed design and migration steps for continued migration from Dev to Prod.

Cloud Migration, Azure, Architecture Principle Design, MongoDB, Migration Design, Azure - Migration, Kafka, Cassandra, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services), Migration Planning, Azure Administration (IaaS)

Database & Middleware Support : Senior Architect, Applications & Platforms

Requirements :

Masters / Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred

15 years of experience in database design / development / migration on Azure

Hands-on experience on Oracle, SQL Server, COSMOS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra

Experience migrating Large databases 1TB in size across multiple database engines (e. g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, etc. )

Experience with heterogenous database migrations

Experience in performance optimization techniques

High end Troubleshooting and Communication skills

Scripting language (bash / Perl / python)

Experience in Database Administration, HA DR and Monitoring setup - backup / restore, replication, etc

Skills : Azure Migration, AZURE, Cassandra, MongoDB, PL / SQL, Architect, Oracle Database
