Position Overview
AWS Engineer with RCS Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize RCS-based messaging solutions, ensuring seamless integration with AWS Pinpoint and other cloud-based platforms.
- Develop and maintain RBM (RCS Business Messaging) templates for interactive customer engagement.
- Work closely with RCS providers and MAAP (Messaging as a Platform) vendors to enable smooth integration and compliance with GSMA RCS standards.
- Configure and manage session-based messaging workflows, ensuring optimal customer interaction.
- Provide expertise on GSMA RCS specifications, RBM templates, and industry best practices for two-way messaging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RCS delivery, session handling, and API integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement strategies using RCS.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in RCS Business Messaging (RBM), GSMA RCS, and session-based messaging workflows.
- Experience with AWS Pinpoint or other cloud-based communication platforms.
- Understanding of WhatsApp Business Messaging and its relevance to RCS-based communication.
- Hands-on experience with MAAP integration and working with RCS providers.
- Proficiency in API integrations, mobile messaging protocols, and telecom communication frameworks.
- Experience in designing RCS templates, interactive messaging flows, and chatbots.
- Knowledge of SMS/MMS to RCS transition strategies and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile network operator (MNO) integrations for RCS messaging.
- Familiarity with chatbot automation for customer service using RCS.
- Knowledge of telecom regulations and RCS security best practices.
