The Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for overseeing and coordinating surgical services, including the Operating Room, Pre-operative, Post-Anesthesia Care, and Anesthesia services. This role involves managing staffing, scheduling, education, regulatory compliance, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. The director will also implement departmental goals, maintain budgets, and monitor performance to enhance efficiency and quality. Key responsibilities include leadership, budget management, physician and staff relations, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices. Required qualifications include an RN license (Texas), BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and preferably CNOR. Strong communication, teamwork, and professionalism are essential.
